| C + E | ANY LGV VEHICLE (HGV1) |
Minimum Age: 21
You must have passed your Category C driving test (if you obtained a provisional LGV licence before 1st Jan 1997 then you will have a provisional licence to drive an artic (C+E) BUT you will still need to take your Category C test first. You must check your licence to see if the provisional for C+E is on it.
You must hold the full Category C licence the pass certificate is NOT acceptable. On passing your category C driving test you must send your provisional licence back to the DVLA for them to upgrade it to a full category C and at the same time they will put the provisional on it for the artic (C+E) automatically.
DVLA normally take about 10 working days to process your licence. There is no time limit between passing your Category C test and taking a C+E test.
You do not need to take a second LGV theory test if you had to take one in order to pass your category C driving test. If you passed your Category C or old HGV 2/3 before the theory test was introduced then you are lucky you still don't have to pass a theory test before doing your C+E training.
Normal Duration: 3-5 Days
We will provide full training
and booking of your tests.
